Jamie Ashen (Ryan Kwanten) whose wife Lisa (Laura Regan) has recently died under mysterious circumstances becomes the prime suspect. While Detective Jim Lipton (Donnie Wahlberg) starts a routine investigation, Jamie, who is quite certain of not having done away with his own wife, goes out on his own to unravel a web of mysteries surrounding the untimely decease of his beloved. He takes as a starting point an old ventriloquist dummy which Lisa received shortly before her death. The further search leads him to his hometown of Raven
