Pursuit to Algiers Movie
The riveting mystery thriller takes place almost exclusively on a passenger ship, en route from England to Algiers. Intrepid detective Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) and his trusty assistant Dr. Watson (Nigel Bruce) are charged with the job of accompanying Prince Nikolas (Leslie Vincent) on his journey home after his father's assassination. Holmes must guard the prince, disguised as Watson's nephew, from numerous villains who are also on board to murder the young sovereign and thus subvert the throne.
